I found myself really loving this series and in particular, Juliette. She is one funny little girl 100% of the time.What I had a hard time understanding is why Gracie moves to her ex-boyfriend's hometown, but never once reaches out to his family in regards to their grandchild. I kind of disliked Gracie for being so selfish. Amos's family had every right to know about Juliette, but Gracie didn't want to share here. And that really affected how I felt about her.
And then there is the climax that just made no sense to me. Getting shot in the stomach somehow affects your ability to have children ever. I think the author should have taken just a bit more time with this predicament and fleshed it out a bit more. As it is, it didn't make me think she can't have kids again because her ailment doesn't fit with with an inability to conceive. Also, you can always adopt. It's not the end of the world if you can't have a biological child, adoption is something to consider.
I just felt like this story was more rushed than Royal Atlas was, but it was a story I liked for the most part.

Wow just wow hj has done it again I love this series it is FULL of love and heart break cub is a very sexy man that will do anything to keep his little girl safe and then gracie happen and the love he has for her and her little girl is amazing there are now many men that will step up a be a father to a child that's not his but that what a good man dose
I felt every word the author wrote! The love, happiness then the heartbreak and sadness. It was beyond beautiful the love between Amos and Gracie! I felt her broken soul when her world shattered!!! But then she meet this handsome guy with the biggest heart!!! The best!!!
I bought this book because I really enjoyed the first book of this series. Royal Atlas is on my "books to reread" list. So I was naturally intrigued by how my heart was going to be broken, put back together, crushed and mended with Gravity. I read this in one evening and used an entire roll of toilet paper, tissues don't do it for me. I will read the phone book if it is written by Bellus.
I am now a bona fide fan of this author. This is the third book I've read by her and they all evoke the same emotion. Laughter, shock, sadness, perseverance and love. This is Cub, Gracie and Amos' story.
We have already met Gracie and Amos in Finding Atlas, and even though their love story ended in tragedy; it also shows the will of the human spirit to survive. Cub and Gracie's story shows perseverance and a strong desire to find their HEA. It will tug at your heartstrings but definitely worth reading.
I purchased Gravity when it was first published but waited to read it until I could give it the proper attention that it deserves. I am very glad I did because it is worthy of every emotion you can think of. It is a book for those who believe that a second love can bring you happiness while never downplaying the importance of your first love. I had read Royal Atlas so I knew there would be tears in my future reading Amos and Grace's story. Even knowing, the emotions still were drawn out of me. Cub is a well developed second love and very deserving of his own HEA. As for Miss Juliette, for this young lady you will also need tissues but only to wipe away tears of laughter. She was truly a bright spot in the book!
One of my Collection titles is "Keepers", Gravity is in that collection. Also added it to my "Read Again" collection. Now I can hardly wait for the third book in the series.
I knew going into this book l was gonna have my heart ripped apart. I absolutely loved Royal Atlas, and I knew Gravity would be just as powerful. It was so hard to read the separate love stories because all you wanted was for the first one to get it's happily ever after. In true HJ Bellus style, I could not have loved Gracie, the heroine, more. She has such beauty and kindness in her, and yet gracefully rises above each and every challenge in her path. I could talk about the male characters in this book, but I'm not sure if it's even about them. I just loved the theme of the whole book and feel that the title couldn't have been a better choice. Definitely can't wait for Hart's story!
